From LA to VA: Strength Rooted in Inclusivity, Growth & Community

I’m Jen—a personal trainer, Navy veteran, and wellness advocate based in Roanoke, Virginia. I first got into fitness because I wanted to live a healthier, longer life—and over time, it became a powerful way to reconnect with myself, my strength, and my purpose. That journey deepened during my time in the military, where I served as a hospital corpsman and assistant command fitness leader, helping fellow sailors build resilience through movement and wellness.

Originally from Los Angeles and a first-generation Asian-American, I bring a unique and inclusive lens to training. With a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and experience in family medicine, women’s health, mental health, and substance abuse rehab, I take a whole-person approach to health. I'm also pursuing my master’s in Social Work to further support the mind-body connection and long-term behavior change.

In 2020, I discovered powerlifting and competed in MCCS and USAPL meets in Okinawa, Japan, and San Diego, California. That experience taught me discipline and perseverance—but today, I focus on functional fitness to support my current goals: strength, mobility, longevity, and overall health.

As a coach, I help others build strength and sustainable habits through personalized training—empowering clients to feel confident, capable, and strong in everyday life. Whether you're just starting or striving to elevate your routine, I'm here to meet you where you are.

I’m happily married to my husband, and together we live out the values of resilience, growth, and commitment. Through online and in-person coaching, I guide clients to move with purpose and take ownership of their journey—strong, unapologetically, and on their terms.
